ABOUT US

Jalkanen & Keski-Pomppu is a new

Helsinki-based design duo.

They work in the intersection between art, design and architecture, in the field of objects and sculpture, as well as furniture and interior design. They strongly believe that better and more insightful results can be achieved through hands-on work, regardless of the nature of the project. This thinking is at the center of their work. They not only produce aesthetically high-level products and furniture design, interiors and exhibition architectures, but also sustainable always goes along.

In 2021, they were founding a studio collective called Studio Bom in Kallio, Helsinki with their friend Anniina. Where they also work together, sharing space with 7 other artists.

Piia Jalkanen is a designer, interior architect and teacher who works on various design projects, working with materials such as ceramic and wood. Jalkanen graduated from Aalto University in fall 2023.
